2026 Classes
Turn-Ons: Meeting people & playing at events (1)
A playful, energetic guide to sparking connections and creating stellar scenes. We think science is sexy, so expect a generous dose of research and geekery applied to kinky play! A little knowledge goes a long way in the journey from “nice to meet you” to “hell yes, it’s a playdate” to “let’s share Google calendars” – with demos, roleplay scenarios, and actionable tips, we’ll help you co-create scenes (and kink relationships) that feel hot and satisfying for everyone involved.
Pretty Mean Things: Floor bondage for sensation and aesthetics (2)
Rope can highlight, distort, or abstract the body to create a particular mood or visual effect, while providing sensations ranging from comforting compression to viscous bite. This class will teach a range of straightforward, flexible patterns designed to facilitate connection and creativity. Whether your style leans sweet, seductive, or sadistic, you’ll leave with new ways to make your rope both pretty and mean. Ties may include a quick-release column tie, ornamental diamond body harness, bunny ears variation, face rope, and a bent leg tie, as well as exercises focused on tension, rope handling, and aesthetic intention.
Prerequisites: This is an advanced beginner-to-intermediate floorwork class. Attendees should be familiar with single-column ties and bondage negotiation/risk awareness basics, and have the body awareness and communication skills to participate at a level that is safe(r) for them. The focus of this class is partnered tying, but activities can be modified to allow self-tying.
Supplies: At least one piece of ~30′ and one piece of ~15′ rope (hemp or jute preferred). Cutting tool (safety shears preferred).
Unconventional Restraint: Bondage without rope (3)
Sexy bondage in the heat of the moment doesn’t have to involve a pile of rope. Keep it seductive and fun by using informal restraints created from clothing, bedding, and more! Shay will briefly discuss safety and communication for restraint, then jump into demos and hands-on practice creating bondage with unconventional materials. From the expected (neckties, scarves) to the less cliché (shirts, nylons, pillowcases, vet wrap, and more), this is a bondage beginner-level look at a large variety of “found” implements and how to apply these creatively and as safely as possible. Throughout the class, Shay will discuss and demonstrate variations like limb-to-limb bondage vs. tying off to furniture, execution in context, dynamic (and cooperative) bondage bottoming, and setting and maintaining a mood for your scene (from sexy to silly to sadistic).
The instructors will have neckties and a limited amount of other supplies for classroom use. You can practice some basic techniques on yourself, but we recommend bringing a partner if you’d like to experience the hands-on portions of the class.
