What is the Ethics Committee?
The Ethics Committee is an independent, neutral body responsible for :
- Receiving and reviewing reports of consent violations or unethical conduct;
- Following our formal Consent Violation Procedure to ensure fair, trauma-informed responses;
- Making final determinations on outcomes, including event suspensions or bans, based on; reported incidents; reviewing and recommending updates to the event’s Consent Policy, Ethics Code, and public language;
- Offering guidance and best practices to leadership around DEI, inclusive language, and ethical conduct; and
- Supporting the community through transparent, consistent, and confidential resolution processes.
