Accessibility
Kinky Kollege is committed to creating an environment that is welcoming, respectful, and accessible to attendees with disabilities. If you have specific needs, we encourage you to reach out ahead of time so we can best support you.
Venue Accessibility
- The event space is accessible via elevator, stairs, and escalator.
- All programming areas are located on one level, with no interior stairs or raised thresholds between classrooms and dungeon spaces.
- Hallways and common areas are wide enough to accommodate mobility devices.
If you anticipate needing specific accommodations related to the venue layout, please contact us prior to the event.
Classroom & Presentation Access
- All classrooms are equipped with microphones and speakers. Presenters are asked to use microphones so content can be clearly heard.
- Reserved seating is available in the front rows of each classroom for attendees who are hard of hearing, visually impaired, or have other accessibility needs.
- Lighting levels may vary depending on the presentation topic. If you have concerns about lighting, please speak with a staff member.
Cell Phone & Medical Device Policy
While routine cell phone use is not permitted during classes or demos, cell phones and electronic devices required for medical needs are always allowed.
If you require device access for medical or accessibility reasons, please let us know and we will authorize it without issue.
Dungeon Accessibility
- Seating is available throughout dungeon spaces for those who need to rest.
- Designated accessibility seating is available during TAPAS for those who need to sit while waiting in line.
- If equipment needs to be moved or adjusted to improve access, please speak to a Dungeon Monitor. We are happy to assist whenever possible.
Service & Companion Animals
Service and emotional support / companion animals are permitted in accordance with our policy. Please review our full Service Animal Policy here.
If you have questions about bringing a service or companion animal, contact us ahead of time so we can provide guidance.
Sensory Considerations
Please be aware that dungeon spaces may include:
- Varied lighting (including low light or colored light)
- Amplified sound or music
- Demonstrations that may include intense visual or auditory elements
If you need assistance navigating these spaces, our staff and Dungeon Monitors are available to help.
Need Something Specific?
We understand that accessibility is not one-size-fits-all. If you have specific needs that are not addressed here, please contact us prior to the event and we will do our best to accommodate.
