Kitten Wood

Kitten Wood, sometimes known as “The Lady in the Hat,” started her exploration of kink
and M/s relationships in 2007 in the Baltimore/DC area. She is a collared slave who
has served her current Owner for seven years. She is the Chaplain of Ravenscraig
House, a leather family currently anchored in the Austin, TX area. She holds a Ph.D. in
World Spirituality, is an ordained non-denominational minister, a second-degree pagan
priestess, a master Esoteric Healer, a professional educator and a proud member of the
Leather community. A student of spirituality and science, service and submission, she is
constantly seeking new ways to touch the flame at the heart of every soul.

Sexual assault. Domestic violence. Abusive relationships. Sadly, these are far too common in
our modern world. Survivors of such trauma are frequently found in the BDSM community. A
comment at a previous KK raised the question, “Are healthy D/s or M/s experiences possible
after abuse?” This lecture/discussion explores ways to reclaim one’s agency within a power
sharing dynamic. Because personal stories and sensitive material will be under discussion, this
is a closed-door session.

Kitten Wood came into the Life in 2007 in the Baltimore/DC area where she trained as a

approaches to living within a power sharing dynamic. This roundtable discussion encourages
attendees to share “Best of Breed’ options for keeping the exchange alive in the midst of the
real world. Contracts, communication techniques, and red flag warnings about when it might be
time to reach out for help are all possible topics.
